There’s something fun to do for everyone. The weekly Claremont Farmers and Artisans Market every Sunday is the largest of its kind in the region. For arts and crafts lovers, there’s the monthly First Saturday Art Walk and the Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire in October.

Families flock to events such as Things That Go Bump in the Night at California Botanic Garden in October and Inland Pacific Ballet’s The Nutcracker in December. And nature enthusiasts can celebrate and discover the beauty of various native plants at the Annual Wild Flower Show and Festival in April and other botanic garden events.

The Fairplex Garden Railroad

Second Sunday of each month, Nov.-July, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. The popular G-gauge outdoor miniature railroad is located near the Fairplex Grandstand. The trains journey through various eras of California history from the mid-1800s through the years. Up to 23 different trains can operate at the same time over 8,000 feet of track on nearly an acre of landscape. This is the oldest and largest public operating garden railroad in the United States.
